The founder and publisher of the Handbuilt Bicycle Guide, Paul has long experience in Europe and North America as a cycling journalist as well as having helped as a communications consultant at events such as Sea Otter Classic, North American Handmade Bicycle Show, and more recently the Philly Bike Expo. He has owned and ridden handbuilt custom bicycles since his teenage years. Paul lives in San Francisco, California, with five bicycles.
