Riivo Custom Cycling Shoes: Molded with sole
Riivo's custom clients are frequently those with extremely wide or narrow feet, and those who suffer from bunions. Other customers simply want a really fine pair of shoes. He also works in leather, for those who prefer it.

Brad Harper of Riivo started his shoe cobbler apprenticeship 21 years ago on custom speedskating shoes. As speedskaters often turn into cyclists (Olympian Eric Heiden being the most famous example), he soon took his custom shoe-building skills to cycling shoes. He started Riivo in 2009 and now sells his custom cycling shoes all over the world. He also offers a range of semi-custom shoes that fit traditionally, lasts, and can be customized for color and closures.
But owners of unique feet will be glad to hear that he also builds custom shoes on plaster casts. He sends a kit and video to the customer, who can then create their own cast. The cast is returned to Riivo in Houston, and he builds a unique carbon sole, fitted with a custom-designed microfiber upper.
